Wir haben uns von den klassischen Toiletten mit Wasserspülung verabschiedet und wollen moderne Kompost-Trenntoiletten aus Finnland benutzen, die unabhängig von einer Kanalisation funktionieren und später zudem wertvollen Humus liefern.

So könnnen wir zum Beispiel innerhalb eines Feriencamps mit 30 Personen in 14 Tagen fast 20.000 Liter kostbares Trinkwasser sparen.

Our original home-made compost toilets, costing very little to build, are based on the biological principle of seperation to promote microrganisms converting solid matter, combined with a nutrient of added fresh forest soil, leaves and tree bark, into rich humus.

This natural process means we can save water and be independent of a sewer system - without creating biologically useless material as in a simple unseperated trench toilet.

But we are now up dating to more modern compost toilets - costing rather more, but much more comfortable to use! More information ... here

  

We do not use classical flush toilets, but compost toilets - now we are introducing modern compost seperation toilets from Finnland. No sewage connection is necessary, and in a relatively short time they produce valuable humus.

In this way, over a period of 14 days of vacation camp with 30 people, we can save some 20,000 liters of valuable drinking water.
